At the end of the month, she gave a talk focusing on Lady Jane at the New Walk Gallery in Leicester (<a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=677\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b> Lady Jane Grey \u2013 The Sister Who Would Be Queen)<\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a>. An article about Katherine Grey <a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=673\"style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b>The Other Royal Family<\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a>) appeared in the Daily Express in January.<\/p>\n<p>Leanda was interviewed on BBC Radio Lincolnshire on February 1st. (See <a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=680\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b>main points of the interview <\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a>). This was followed by an interview on Woman\u2019s Hour (BBC Radio 4) on February 4th. Another interview was featured in the Leicester Mercury <a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=684\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b> Interview<\/b><\/i>)<\/font><\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Lady Jane was the subject of the BBC Radio 4 afternoon play called \u2018The Nine Days Queen\u2019 by Amanda Whittington.<\/p>\n<p>From mid March to the beginning of November, the &#8216;On the Nature of Women: Tudor and Jacobean Portraits of Women 1535-1620&#8217; exhibition continued at Montacute House, Somerset (see <a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=701\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b><br \/>\nblog <\/font><\/b><\/i><\/a>). It included the National Portrait Gallery portrait, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npg.org.uk\/live\/search\/portrait.asp?search=ss&#038;sText=lady+jane+grey&#038;LinkID=mp01373&#038;rNo=0&#038;role=sit\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><b><i>\u2018Unknown Woman, formerly known as Lady Jane Dudley (nee Grey)&#8217;<\/i><\/b><\/font><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In April, Leanda de Lisle very kindly answered questions about her book that had been submitted to the blog. You can read her answers here \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?page_id=127\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b>Q&#038;A with Leanda de Lisle.<\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npg.org.uk\/collections\/search\/portrait.php?search=ss&#038;firstRun=true&#038;sText=lady+jane+grey&#038;LinkID=mp01373&#038;page=1&#038;rNo=1&#038;role=sit\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"> <font color=\"#150567\"><i><b>Streatham<\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a> portrait was removed from display at the National Portrait Gallery in April and the same portrait was used when Lady Jane was featured as part of a set of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buckinghamcovers.com\/shop\/productdisplay.lasso?product_id=921&#038;-session=shopper:C35D150207e352AA28gIFEAFA7F4\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"> <font color=\"#150567\"><i><b>Tudor stamps <\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A special walk to see the veteran trees of Bradgate took place on June 6th and Sally Henshaw gave several talks about Lady Jane.<\/p>\n<p>In June, the National Gallery announced that a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalgallery.org.uk\/whats-on\/exhibitions\/delaroche-lady-jane-grey\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b>&#8216;Painting History: Delaroche and Lady Jane Grey\u2019<\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a> is one of five exhibitions in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Leanda de Lisle (The Sisters Who Would Be Queen) and Eric Ives (Lady Jane Grey: A Tudor Mystery) gave talks about their books at the Throckmorton Literary Festival in September. <\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Katherine Grey: Heir to Elizabeth&#8217; by de Lisle appeared in the September issue of History Today. Another article, <a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=722\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b>&#8216;Faking Jane&#8217;<\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a> was featured in the September issue of the New Criterion, in which she argued that the Spinola letter containing the only detailed description of Lady Jane is a fake.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Lady Jane Grey: A Tudor Mystery&#8217; by Eric Ives was published in October (see <a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=731\" style=\"text-decoration: none\"><font color=\"#150567\"><i><b> Reviews)<\/b><\/i><\/font><\/a>.
