{"id":18826,"date":"2025-04-25T12:34:25","date_gmt":"2025-04-25T11:34:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=18826"},"modified":"2025-04-25T12:34:58","modified_gmt":"2025-04-25T11:34:58","slug":"further-research-to-be-carried-out-on-the-teerlinc-miniature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/?p=18826","title":{"rendered":"Further research to be carried out on the Teerlinc Miniature"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><BR><\/p>\n<p>Art historian Dr Emma Luisa Cahill Marr\u00f3n has announced that she will be part of a team working on the miniatures owned by the Yale Center for British Art.<\/p>\n<p><BR><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Emma-Cahill.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Emma-Cahill.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"602\" height=\"488\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18827\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Emma-Cahill.jpg 602w, https:\/\/ladyjanegrey.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Emma-Cahill-300x243.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><BR><\/p>\n<p>The project will include a portrait that has previously been suggested as Lady Jane Grey by David Starkey. In March 2007, it was on display as part of &#8216;Lost Faces&#8217; exhibition at the Philip Mould Gallery.<\/p>\n<p>In &#8216;Susanna Horenbout, Levina Teerlinc and the Mask of Royalty&#8217; by Susan E James and James S Franco published in 2000, it is suggested that the miniature was painted by Susanna Horenbout and is of Queen Katherine Howard.
