On Friday I went to the \u2018Making History: Printed Portraiture in Tudor and Stuart Britain 1580-1640\u2019 at the National Portrait Gallery. It runs from July 7 to 9 December 2007.<\/p>\n
The exhibition includes portrait prints of Richard III, Henry VII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I, Elizabeth I, Thomas Howard (3rd Duke of Norfolk and uncle to Anne Boleyn), William Cecil, Robert Dudley, Francis Drake, Walter Raleigh, Thomas Cranmer, Matthew Parker, William Shakespeare, Mary Queen of Scots and the Gunpowder Plotters.<\/p>\n
