Earlier this week I went to the ‘Renaissance Faces: Van Eyck to Titian’ exhibition at the National Gallery (15 October 2008-18 January 2009).
The exhibition included:
‘Laughing child, possibly Henry VIII, c 1498’ by Guido Mazzoni (from the Royal Collection).
‘Mary Tudor, Queen of England, second Wife of Phillip II’ by Antonis Mor (from Museo Nacional del Prado).
‘Phillip II of Spain on Saint Quentin’s Day’ by Antonis Moe.
