Captivity


During her captivity in the Tower of London, Lady Jane Grey was lodged in the house of Mr Nathaniel Partridge, on Tower Green. In August 1553, the author of ‘The Chronicle of Queen Jane’ dined at the house and recorded his conversation with Lady Jane.
